>> You mentioned about possible summer rally, how do you picture next 6 months or so? <<

I see a couple of scenarios. Last week being the top is one of them.

2nd scenario would be a selloff lasting a couple of weeks, then a summer rally, and then another selloff starting in the aug/sept period and bottoming in october. This scenario is favored by many folks on RealMoney.com.

3rd scenario would be for the market to just start flopping around in the 1450 to 1550 area on the Naz, frustrating all market participants trying to catch a trend... any trend, in a trendless market.

>> I can't get rid of this feeling that Fed and the big boys of the market artificially tried to keep the stock market floating. <<

That's a possibility. If Greenspan is really worried about deflation (and i have my doubts) the LAST thing he wants to see is a selloff.

>> I feel sorry for Uncle Greenie, he looked so much older and tire today, I don't see any more "exuberance" in him... <<

He's pushing what, like 80 years? :) He should be playing cards with old folks, and enjoying the wednesday Jello desert with rest of the gang in the retirement home. :)

If things don't go well in the economy, history will clearly place the blame on him. Being known as the fed chief who caused a depression, probably would not go over well at Chez Greenspan.
