This little bit from Josh Marshall Excellent article. I posted it to you this morning, post 1305. You probably saws the dreaded WSJ.com and skipped it. The Dems went south on National Defense in 72 with McGovern, and never went back. They have been the "Anti-war" party ever since. Clinton is looking like the "Mule" he was now. A fantastic politician who overcame the "Anti-war" because of the end of the cold war.
