I didn't find anything on SI until he mentioned that ticker to me and I wrote a Perl script to crawl that board here until it encountered his name.

But say whatever you like. You and your completely mistaken opinions presented as fact really don't matter anyway.

You can continue to pretend that you knew all about him and I was either ignorant (actually, I was, until I had reason to start getting really suspicious and finally had some clues to work with) or knew and was evil, but the fact of the matter is you didn't know squat about him until I steered you to the info. As in URLs to the posts I'd found. Hell, I showed you what I'd found and you try to use it to stab me in the back.

Real piece of work.

And I don't happen to care what you think of the term "bit-slapped". Real computer people have used the phrase for ages.
