Ugh! Why pay interest on utilities by charging them? Good for John's banks, to be sure! ;)

I have a large limit CC which I keep for emergencies and large purchases. For everyday use, I have a Check Card. Accepted as a Visa CC, doubles as an ATM card, and it's 100% cash baby! Yeah! Straight from my checking account. If I was going to go the "electronic bill paying", I'd charge them to a check card, or other direct debit. My mantra is "live by cash."
