I don't think there is any question that Windows CE will compete with RT thin-client/servers somewhere down the road. However, Wind River has too much of a commanding lead and too many software development partners for Microsoft to win this battle. Personally, I think Wind Rivers is an excellent buy, but the question is just how high of a price should we pay in order to make this a safe investment?
