One of the most senior government posts in Iraq was held by a Christian. Can you imagine that happening in Israel? Actually, you probably can, since you have demonstrated a vivid imagination here: Tariq - was forced to cooperate and stay with Saddam. Read how his family was tortured and imprisoned and threatened. (Many have speculated that Tariq was actually with the CIA but I doubt we will ever know the truth.) And here: You should also read how poorly the Christian community has been treated in Iraq and how it is has dwindled.
