Dennis: In spite of the near unanimous consternation expressed on
this thread with respect to the Amazon of money, I have the distinct
feeling Brinker may be loathe to dethrone her. When did you ever hear
so many women calling MoneyTalk on any given week-end?

Let's face it, Brinker, though most genteel with the ladies, seems to
be more a man's man. As noted, the "goddess" barked her latest book
incessantly, a book specifically adressed to the financial needs of
the fairer sex. In an era where women control, by design or default,
vast amounts of capital, Brinker's choice of the self-proclaimed
goddess of money, at the least, may smack of savvy marketing.
