Yeah, and if I remember correctly There were several negative articles about how the that. I think it was also about the time there was a rehash of the law suit against SA miners during Apartheid and how it could be devastating to them(SAs) GFI got the brunt of that PR and I don't think it has been able to shake out of the funk since. Of course, the more they bring them down the more compelling the dividend as well as growth potential look.
