Actually what I had in mind, and, no doubt, you already knew this, was something more like this.

I am sure you did, and I thought you had already read it. But, let's face it. Karl actually knows more. You are looking for proof of your hypothesis that the Republicans are Racist Bigots. And that is the reason they took the south away from the pure at heart Dems. I think all Politicians play the race game, if they have a significant amount of minority voters in their district.

The average, "up and coming" southern politician is 35 years old. He was born in 1968, and has no memory of the civil rights struggle. He will go with what he is given in the district he is running from, and the voters there. He is no saint about it, Dem or Repub.

I suspect you are really bitter about the way the South has worked out for the Dems. I understand. But you can't blame the Repubs for taking advantage of the situation.
