KALISPELL, Mont.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2003--Semitool, Inc. (Nasdaq:SMTL - News) today announced that it received a Supplier Excellence Award from Motorola, Inc.'s (NYSE:MOT - News) Semiconductor Products Sector for its copper electroplating system and the parallel product improvement efforts provided by Semitool's customer support team.
Motorola's Semiconductor Products Sector (SPS) has one of the largest installations of Semitool copper electroplating systems and is a pioneer in copper interconnect manufacturing.
