( but...low end has no snob appeal) --------------------- Survey in Beijing shows while the majority of city residents are aware of low-cost of PAS service, they are concerned about limited coverage and signal quality. Beijing began PAS service on May 17, but the survey found as many as 61% of those polled do not want to sign up right away, 33% said they will "definitely" not use the service, only 5% said they will. Interestingly, some customers made the comment that they welcome PAS to Beijing, not because they will use it, but want to see more pressure on cellphone charges. chinanex.com
