Eddie,

My problem is that these payouts are "in vogue" today and they shouldn't be in my opinion. I have seen lots of flameouts of ceo's that have had these types of packages when hired, walked away rich and trashed the company all the while. If they really wanted to give Mr. Splinter an incentive that would be in line with the rest of us common shareholders, they could have given him options that vest over several years and therefore would be better tied to the performance of the company. Otherwise, they should have just given him cash and have him worry about the taxes if that is what this is about(there is nothing wrong with paying taxes either-so we get it 2 ways-as shareholders and citizens of this country).

I also got the email about giving a day number for investor relations to call. It seems to have been a stock answer to what I hope is some significant backlash against this type of package.

Neal
