Agreed - but by my calculations its $3.47. Anyway, the bloomberg report certainly explains the selloff. I was surprised by the jump in revenues from March quarter. As far as stuffing the channel, I'm a bit confused. A/R jumped from $2M something to 7M something - not a large jump relative to sales. However, with a ship date late May and a 30 day payment due term, could have pushed out product before end of May and received payment by end of June thereby not increasing A/R all that much.

I think there was a huge pent up demand for 6.0. Why MACR didn't continue selling 5.0 and offer free upgrade is beyond me unless because of the nature of the product or the changes to 6.0, it was impractical for developers to buy 5.0 and then upgrade say 2 months later.

The only potential blockbuster product I'm aware that they're working on is a video editing software product to be offerer 1st half 1998 - too far off for impact this year in anticipation + these things usually get delayed so....

Would really like to see the bloomberg report posted here. Any chance you could do so?

Thanks.
