A few things I'd better discuss/mention:

1. Performance: The site seems to be performing well for the most part, but sometimes it takes a VERY long time for a new private message to post. Comes and goes. I just sent 3 in a row that went through immediately.

This is likely a problem at the database level. I'm going to try to address it within my limited capacities, but no promises. The most important project for us right now is database migration and I'm not keen to mess with the existing setup too much. Plus, I'm only just now coming up to speed on it.

2. Searches: I expect that Search is not updating at all right now. I've written to the engineer who's helping me come up to speed and if he has a solution, we'll fix it. If not, I'm not making it a high priority because once the database has been migrated, it'll be in an environment where I can fix the search for good.

3. Performance, Part 2: Message deletions still work just as slowly as I remember them in the past. That'll also be fixed in the future, but something to keep in mind is that though deletions take a long time and impose a lot of overhead on the servers while they're running, I'll still be doing them during the day. Right now, the site might be lagging a bit because I'm in the process of deleting a bunch of spam.
