the answers to your questions are right here.....just read the first 100 post or so of this thread..... Subject 53662 and then remember the names on that thread and see where they are today.... you will find a bunch of toasted bears who didn't want to listen to my warnings to them.....so they turned my thread into a toasted short circus in november instead of playing the market on both sides.... i said all along last year this wasn't a "bear" thread....it was a "reality" thread....and if things changed on that retrace.....i was going to go with it.... others wanted to fight it..... i had strict guidelines on that retrace....when it broke....i warned the bears right then that things changed....i warned AV was going to toast them good.... more idiots showed up and because it was my thread....they started blaming me eventhough i was one of a very few here who got the november ramp right...... i then realized after giving folks an absolute "perfect" retrace from may to october.....i realized what a bunch of ungrateful bastards i was helping out..... so....i decided to say screw it to these clowns....and then when i said bears have seen their best days and i threw up my new roadmap in december and said the top in 03 was going to 1700's....the clown bears laughed....they didn't want to deal with the "new" reality after the retrace broke and AV said things are going to be different from what bears had known the last three years..... so...since these folks were obviously not going to deal in reality....and they pretty much trashed what was a great t/a thread that covered the "whole" market.....i decided to let them take their medicine the hard way......and i wasn't about to sit here and clue them in like i did in 02 as to what was coming...... and the only way to do that was to go to pm...so i let the ones who appreciated my work join me in pm....and left the rest to start their new adventure on a different thread.....as you can see...their new adventure fell apart just like i said it would because these folks were warned what was going to happen but they thought they knew better and have been taught a lesson by mr market that things change and you better be prepared to change with it.....and that means like i preached on this thread.....you use bear t/a in a bear trend.....and BULL T/A in a BULL TREND.....thats what is killing these folks....they can't see the trend and adjust and use the correct t/a for it....and i made it simple for them.... AV...bull signal... DB...bear signal... so...they started that thread in jan.....in that time i had another perfect retrace that ran to the first week of april that they missed....and AV again has been toasting them just like the AV in november did.....the AV that they say doesn't work but somehow always ends up toasting shorts...geez....you would think they would have learned by now...... obviously....the names you see on that thread are now scattered around or not posting anymore.....and the ones you still see missed this rally or are getting toasted shorting..... and i had another retrace and AV is my signal so i obviously didn't miss this rally and know better than to short AV...... and the thing is....had these guys just stuck with the rules on my thread header....the thread could have gone on and i would have been posting all this stuff just like i did all last year..... but....the icing on the cake came before the iraq war when i realized what a bunch of anti-american people are on these threads after many started with the political talk....and the majority are shorts cheering for the destruction of this market..... that was it for me...never again will i post stuff public that could help people like that out....if i know the markets going to ramp on these shorts...i will enjoy it very much watching them getting killed in the squeeze... if i know the markets going down and down big....like i did last year with that retrace....i'll never let the shorts know again like i did last year.....i would rather watch them get whipsawed going down instead of holding all the way down.....that way they won't benefit as much.... people against this country....i want nothing to do with.... so...since january....i'm done posting my "good" stuff public....
