They can't say they weren't warned.

Well, I'm sure the military civil affairs folks were raising those kinds of concerns.. And probably being ignored, or marginalized in the interest of "we'll fix it after the war"..

It's going to get better over the coming weeks and months as oil starts to flow again and people start going back to work.. I'm not in doubt of that... And many of the mistakes of the past weeks will likely be forgotten by history... But I'm just embarrassed that the post-war planning was not nearly as "flexible" as the actual war plan...
