At the moment I'd put Bush's popular vote at 64% for 2004. The ceiling for any president, IMO is around 65%. The Democratic presidential candidates are looking at a very high and steep mountain in front of them. The have zero climbing gear, and smooth-soled shoes. My guess is they're all praying for an earthquake, like the Gephardt Depression. Should there actually BE any kind of earthquake, the people will rally around who? I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO TYPE HIS NAME. You'll find him today, at his ranch in Texas, celebrating his latest tax cut, and planning his next one. That's the state of the world, pal. Take it or leave it...
