I doubt Dick would be interested in 2008. But I think the talk about Guilianni will disappear as fast as the talk about Powell and McCain did in prior campaigns.

Nor can any of the current crop of Republican governors ever get anywhere. They all seem to be turning into employees of their state's public employee unions.

There are too many young fresh conservatives giving a new face to the ossified Senate and House to be ignored. Their ranks will be swelled by the 2004 Bush Tsunami. Look to them for the winning tickets over the next-decade-and-a-half. THEY will be leading the NEXT stage of the renaissance...
