Powell has been, so far, the greatest failure in the Cabinet:
He delayed the Iraq liberation by MONTHS, and then got himself stabbed in the back by the French. Now he wants reapproachment with them. (Reapproachment for Powell or for the US?)
In 2002 he made his president look VERY BAD by getting him to badger the ISRAELI'S while the Palestinian subhumans were tying their infants up with dynamite and pushing them into crowds of Israeli citizens.
Now he's frozen out of the Iraq re-building, so he goes to Damascus and schmoozes another terrorist.
Between now and the 2004 election, he is almost GUARANTEED to embarrass Bush and the American people once more, and probably more than once.
We are at war, and in war, the SECSTATE stays until after elections. His announcement will be in late November or early December, 2004, when the public, having given their hero, George Bush, all the additional power they can manage to confer in one cycle, turns their attention away, for a while... |
