Actually I never watch C-Span, but I do get to see the different members when AG gives his reports to the banking committee and various other hearings that are televised on CNBC or the nightly news. I'm appalled at the low level of understanding of basic economic concepts. Either that or they are dumbing down what they say to make the nightly sound bites, to make it look like they are out there protecting the public good to the average American.
