sorry, if my comment was understood as made in attack mode. I'm just weary of jumping to conclusions that's all. So... De-Ba'athification on agenda, right? There was a certain dr. iur. Filbinger in Germany who made it to the equivalent of a Governor (Land Baden Würtemberg). He was a judge and let hang a 17years old deserter on april 15th 45. Did not find it amoral or at least questionable ("judged according to the then-legal laws"). It was a big break through for me (in my impression or opinion about Germans) when my Suttgarter landlady, was 1981 or something, commented crisply and simply "This dude is ein Schwein". The brown juice ended in all kinds of nooks and crannies...
