Steve,

Two things:

1. The term "safer" was a poor choice. I think I had the
word "better" in mind. It is a safety/reward ratio that I
was looking at. I don't blame you for being "flabbergasted".

2. That said, there are some penny stocks I would feel
safer in, although that is not true of most. Radius corp
(which I don't own, yet) has not just a book value above
its stock price but a "working capital/share" above its stock
price. If interested (just don't drive the stock up, yet 8^)

exchange2000.com

Another is Focus Enhancements (of which I do have a
small position). It has EPS of a few cents/quarter (not unlike
AOL) but priced at $2+ and in a potentially "hot" area (PC/TV
conversion)I feel it is not going lower and has a big upside
once this area penetrates the consumer market.

I probably conflated items 1 and 2 in my earlier post. I hope
you have a better idea of my position, and I am sorry for
any misunderstanding.

Thanks and Take Care,
Joe
