It's the Stanley Milgram scenario of "obedience to authority", as well as just basic racist beliefs of superiority and human greed that exist in many cultures.

You've done this nicely but it's important to note there are two points here: the Milgram point and the racism point.

Because Milgram meant his point to be an argument that random humans put in the correct situation would obey authority even when asked to do outrageously immoral things. In his case, the subject population was folks pulled off the streets of New Haven but he certainly thought his argument was not limited to such.
