Hey, when we get to two teachers per student, at double the present salary, the Teachers Union will probably be happy. California just went through a reduced class size setup, and, as I recall, the numbers out of it were not impressive. But we can argue these until the cows come home and not agree.

The key was the guy took an interest in the after school activity of the students. And the thrust of the article was about the school's attempts to get around the tests, rather than upgrade teaching.
