No? They been against war ever since McGovern. They have opposed every war we have been in since then. Panama, Grenada, Gulf I, Iraq. They went along with the Balkans because it was not a war but a "Peacekeeping" mission. If it walks like a duck.......

people were far more interested in where McCain stood on issues that affected them, such as the economy and Social Security.

Of course they were. If was prior to 911. If 911 had happened just before the Republican primaries, McCain would be Prez. And it would not have been close.

I wondered if SI was going to be out all weekend!
