All I know is that they have a lot of oil that junior wanted, but had no WMD. I think you're giving G Bush jr too much credit. He may or may not have wanted the iraqi oil, but I believe the US did not attack iraq for oil. The US legitimately thought iraq had weapons. They did not, of course. The real issue that the world has to deal with is not that Bush is manipulative or out to steal other nations oil. The issue is that G Bush jr is just stupid and didn't have the brains to question the accuracy or consequences of attacking a country that posed no imminent threat. A stupid man leading the worlds only superpower is worse than a manipulative man, imo. And Bush IS stupid.
