. I have concluded that any minuscule erosion of freedoms for the purpose of security is an easily acceptable trade. minuscule????? get real!!! You read up and tell me if this is alright with you? The right to formal charges and a hearing before a judge suspended forever for "suspected" terrorist's because the threat of terrorism is ongoing and doesn't have an end like a conventional war. The government does not even have to admit that they have detained you and they can keep you indefinitely. Wiretaps without judicial review or a warrant, snooping in your private business and reading your e-mails without a warrant. Just general trolling, invading your privacy at their whim. These are basic rights at the foundation of the constitution. Read this and you get the bigger picture. publicintegrity.org
