You are right! I don't know how I had the impression that somehow inflation was at an all time low at less than 2%. I think it was some graphs I had seen of core inflation lately, plus the Greenspan talk. But now I went and looked at the actual statistics and inflation is above 3%, when everything is taken into account, as it should. Glad I hold no long term bonds any longer.

When the Asians decide that enough is enough and revalue their currencies or create a common Asian currency, I fully expect a stagflation period similar to the '70s, if not worse.
