<<since there were no weapons there.>>
What an absolutely ridiculous statement. You have no knowledge whatsoever re: the absence or presence of WMD. You have been brainwashed by the ultra-liberal media, even if you won't admit it. The American troops have been in Iraq for less than three months, they are still rooting out the fanatics in a country as large as the state of California. Iraq , courtesy of France, Germany and Russia, had a all the time in the world to hide or otherwise send out of the country any weapons they did not want exposed. Iraq stated, in 1998, they had huge stores of chemical and biological stores which they claimed to have destroyed, but would not, or could not, submit proof to the UN of such action. By that criteria alone Iraq has WMD, but where they are is the question. The UN, US and other countries are sending in 1400 new inspectors to take on this mammoth task. They will be found or their disposition disclosed. And if you have trouble justifying this war on humanitarian grounds alone I feel sorry for you.
