The Iraqi war will be considered as won only when there is stability in Iraq and there is some modicum of democracy and when terrorist attacks around the world has abated.

Bush declared that only the war was over. He did not say they won the war and in fact he cannot say so since the two conditions have not been met. On the contrary, similar to the UN inspectors, the US also has not been very successful in finding WMD, thew very reason the war was fought, isn't it?

So snubbing these folks in France, Russia and Germany is somewhat premature. And worse still, the people in the US may snub Bush in Nov. 2004 if all these problems remain, the people still do not have jobs and we end up with a ballooning deficit because of the tax cuts.
