I heard they were a very tight knit group, but our next door neighbors were decedents, and they welcomed us to everything they had, as did our friends from Kutztown. I really got a flavor of the wonderful people in the area, and met many Amish and their decedents. What fun we had! Everywhere you live is a learning experience!
