Have you ever read this book, or are you blurbing it?

Years ago. He does write about good teachers in bad schools, and vice versa. The example I posted is in the book. You say you are teaching part time in Calif for 22k. Not a bad deal, IMO.

You, John, and the Teaching establishment are hung up on the idea that the central problem with the school system is "M&Ms"-more men and money-and I disagree. I believe it is a structural problem that cannot be solved until a State finally elects Politicians who agree with me. The chances of that happening soon are slim and none, and slim just left town.

But we can have fun following what the Politicians do try, as they fumble their way through the problem.
