wait till gas hits 5 bucks a gallon in a few years and then 10 bucks around 2010. good thing nobody has to drive anywhere on those 14-lane Southern California freeways or one might think high real estate prices were inconsistent with the end of our petrol-based economic fantasy.

while real estate prices should eventually crash, on the bright side, you'll probably see orange groves in Orange County again.
