Bill- I know that you work for an ISP that is using IE. But where did you get the idea that your competitors are? In fact quite the opposite is happening. ISPs all over the world are using (and paying for) Netscape Navigator. Why?

1) they realize a very simple fact that you obviously haven't learned yet: As a merchant you give the customer what he/she wants to buy. Amazing concept don't you think William?
2) ISPs realize that over the longterm, they are all competing with MSN so why would they want to use software on their front end that does nothing to differentiate them from their competitor up north? Again, I base this observation on having sold our products to ISPs over the past 4 quarters.
3) Our cross platform story is way ahead of theirs.

So please Bill, don't sit here and give all of the readers of this column ideas that are just plain wrong. The way your company does business is definitely not typical of the majority of service providers.
