"I have never called futurists damnable heretics."

That's because it is not heretical. The idea that the resurrection is past and the return of Christ also happened in 70 A.D. with no future coming expected, is indeed a heresy.

There is a great deal of latitude regarding eschatological viewpoints but there are limits. Full Preterism is not acceptable because besides being untrue, it denies the bodily return of Christ and leads most of it's adherents into other heresies such as denying the physical resurrection of the dead.

Colossians 2:9
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.

Christ still had his body when Colossians was written (A.D. 60-62 A.D); has he somehow misplaced it between then and now?
