That's certainly true; as true as that in every country there's also an element who will, when faced with any difficult or contentious situation - and without the slightest twinge of shame - pathetically knuckle under. In the face of challenge or threat, their first instincts are cowardice and/or surrender.

It's they who so eagerly beat their swords into plowshares that wind up plowing for those who do not. I can accept that behavior...I really have no choice...but I absolutely cannot understand it.
