System Restore question- Win XP Professional.

Thought my machine was running a bit slow and went to System Restore. All the prior days checkpoints had been eliminated leaving me with only the current day as a point to restore.

I had run a system restore about a week before and had been able to go back as far as 2 months.

Has anyone run into this? Is there some way to reverse it?
