What is amazing is that people believe what is being written about companies and it is driving this rally. This is pure BS 11:03 ET MRVC MRV Comms -- New High Profile (2.14 +0.32) MRV Communications broke out to a new 52-week high today on 2x avg daily volume. The co makes computer networking products, primarily Ethernet LAN switches, hubs, and related equipment as well as fiber-optic components for voice, video, and data transmission. In its most recent qtr, the co reported a stronger than expected loss of $0.06 on $51.1 mln in sales; the one firm to cover the stock, CIBC, expects the co to narrow its loss to $0.33 this year and to lose $0.16 in 2004. Mkt cap: $209 mln, float: 94.6 mln shares, avg daily volume: 494k shares.
