| At least Clinton was a brilliant man. I find intelligence, and competency in office to be much more important than lies about sexual issues. Lies that relate TO the office, and to the management of our country, disturb me greatly, lies about peckerdillos- not nearly so disturbing- although I have to say I think men and women make a grave mistake in following their genitals about- but I'm not sure I really care all that much. I care about the economy, and my freedom, and the freedom of the other men and women and children in this country- Bush, imo, endangers us all (and endangers our liberty) with his apparent disregard for truth, justice and the constitution. I wouldn't care if he was untruthful and unjust personally, about his personal issues, and I wouldn't care if he personally didn't respect the constitution (although he did swear an oath to uphold it)- but I DO care if he lies about national security, domestic issues, and foreign policy. That's really reprehensible. |
