Hi TA,

Thanks for your long post (about what TA tells you for the future of DDIM). Although I am not persuaded of the infallibility of technical analysis, I still enjoy reading your posts which detail your reading of it. Plus, to boot, you've definately made a lot more money than I trying to read DDIM!

One comment about your post, when you outline when will be the time to sell (at the peak of the mania, when Y2K is major front page news). I wonder how far we are from that? NewsWeak had a terrifying front page with flames and exploding computers (if memory serves) a month or two ago; the Dallas Morning News has run lots of Y2K stories (my local paper); all the financial newspapers I get run lots of Y2K stories, etc. Lots of people are aware of this by now... the danger, IMO, of waiting too long is that at some point the trickle of stories might turn into company press announcements saying "Our Y2K problem has finally been licked" as these computers start to be fixed; and the press might start sounding rosy about how the Y2K problem won't be so bad after all because company after company are finishing up their Y2K fixes.

Any ideas, thoughts??

-- Pete
