Unfortunately, the local Neocon bashers entirely miss the point. Although there are some Neocons who are not Jewish, for example, Jeane Kirkpatrick and Michael Novak, the overwhelming preponderance of those identifying with that faction are, in fact, Jewish. Does that mean that they are crypto- Israelis? No, what it means is that they have derived some hard lessons from history. They admire Churchill for his realism, his calls for preparedness, his willingness to have risked war sooner, in order to challenge Hitler before he was too strong. They wish that the Allies had made a priority of bombing the railways dedicated to transporting the remnants of European Jewry to their deaths. They have no patience for those who portray genocide, mass murder, and/or police state tactics as merely a local matter or a mere extension of culture, instead of a crime against humanity. They know that the judicious use of force does solve problems, or else we would all be wandering around in a racial caste system in a world free of Jews. In short, Neoconservatives are not crypto- fascists, or "Mossadniks", but part of a resurgence of anti- fascist resolve, determined to use the advantages of the current position of the United States in order to achieve a world both safer and more just.......
