You working for mcgovern and me for mccarthy and kennedy makes us more neo-lib than neo-con. Always thought the term was a misnomer anyway, because we(neocons) tend to offer more radical solutions and conservatives tend to be slower moving. The democrats are this gens conservatives or should i say reactionaries(in some cases anyway) much like the Burke Hickenlooper Reoublicans were reactionary vis a vis the New Deal and internationalism in FP in the 50s. LBJ as senate majority leader is more like Bill Frist. Daschle is like Ev Dirksen with his no to any innovation stance. mike
