| Saw that...I'm out, so now nxtl can start it's march upwards<ggg>...seriously though...I did bail.....it just wasn't performing as well as overall markets lately, and yes, folks tend to look ahead, and I am concerned with what happens when NXTL no longer has a monopoly on push to talk, and now, they may lose MOT.......Bottom line, in this economy, folks allegiance will only go so far. IF another company can offer the same quality service at a lower price, they will do so. I dont see nxtl allowing all their customers to leave. They have them, and they will keep them by lowering their prices to meet competitors...margins will shrink drastically, or at least should, as all the major telcoms with new push to talk features, go after nxtl customers HARD, with low prices and all kinds of incentives. So, looking forward, NXTL could find itself in a huge price war trying to keep it's customers. That $70 per month subscriber average could be cut in half. Opinions?? |
