LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 28, 2003--TALX Corporation (NASDAQ: TALX), a leading business process outsourcer of payroll-related and human resource services, today announced that TJX Companies, American Greetings, Lerner New York, Labor Ready and Alberici Group, among others, have recently selected TALX UC eXpress(SM) to reduce the cost of processing their unemployment claims and to better manage their tax rates assessed for employment taxes. Many of these clients are new to TALX, while others are existing clients of The Work Number® that have added additional TALX services as a result of cross-selling.
TJX Companies, Lerner New York and American Greetings have also contracted for UC eXpress Employer Tax Services, which enable clients to recover unemployment tax overpayments as well as provide strategic employment tax planning.
