article contains a wrong assumption about gold (besides the possibility of it ever going over 400 <g>)

one of the things that makes gold attractive is the negative real interest rates -- if foreigners were to dump bonds en masse (won't happen -- AG is right -- country is too big to fail) and push up interest rates above inflation -- gold would be less attractive
