Very interesting mid-quarter update today from NVLS. 2Q guidance essentially flat -- company still ascribing delay in orders to SARS. Essentially saying that customers are reluctant to stick their necks out with large capital expenditures until SARS impact more quantifiable. But the main thing was the Q&A session, which included a great deal of discussion regarding the potential for a very large upsurge in 2H. Quite encouraging and worth listening to. NVLS well positioned for the turn, when upcycle finally comes. Some discussion re synthetic leases and FASB. I'm unfamiliar with this issue. Anyone here able to give a brief explanation? TIA. AD
