Had a bear in my yard back in late February or early March. Or thereabouts. I walked out my back door and saw what I thought was a big weird looking dog. He moved real slow and deliberate and didn't react at all when I told him "g'wan get outta here." So then I figured he was a big weird looking deaf dog. Then something primal told me told me to get the hell back in the house. I watched him through the window a few minutes and it dawned on me it was a freakin bear! Then I noticed a collar, so I'm back to thinking it's a dog again. Then I call my neighbor who is the animal control guy and he tells me the state puts collars on them to track them. By the time I got my camera he was gone. For about a month after that I looked all around the perimeter and moved with great purpose between the house and barn.
