Hi, Buddy!!
You know that I have been a staunch conservative republican for quite a long time, but have, lately, become concerned about the total lack of individuality condoned by the US federal government, regardless of the party in power. It appears to me that the individual American citizens are in danger of becoming nothing more than small cogs in the machinery of an overly powerful, centralized, federal government, and I am disgusted by such a possibility. The problem I have with the libertarian party, is that there seems to be very little chance of getting anyone elected into positions of power. I have read several things about the libertarian party, and though there are a couple of ideals that I can't totally support, the fundamental basis is to my liking. I can only assume that you have libertarian tendencies because of your participation on this thread. If I am wrong, forgive the faux pas. If not, please let me know your feelings about the party, and what you think the future holds for it.
