The common thing between a $120K a year designer at Maxim and 6 $20K a year designers in China is they EACH need a $50K to $100K per year license to run software like Cadence to design the chips.

I am aware of a number of entities that operate with unlawful copies of various software tools in the States...heaven knows what I might find if we took a look at China.
