I would not have thought, nor do I still think, that sex with an intern was an impeachable offense, however unwise. I came to believe in that bit that impeachment is more political than legal, far more. I think Nixon's almost impeachment was more legal than political but since then, the hyper partisanship which has been bequeathed to us via Newt Gingrich and his minions, makes it far more political.

Thus, I don't think the wmd stuff is even close to impeachment material. If it got to be a serious political issue, the folk thrown overboard would start in that DOD committee convened to go over the CIA reports. They wouldn't be able to touch Bush.
